Welcome to Sneyd Judo Club

A BJC judo club in Stoke on Trent who's members meet every Tuesday and Friday to participate in the sport and martial art Judo. We welcome anyone who would like to try judo whatever their experience. Our members come from Stoke, Newcastle and North Staffordshire to learn a martial art, keep fit, participate in a sport, enter competitions, for a challenge and to make friends.

Leicester Competition

4 members of Team Sneryd fought at Leicester on Saturday 23rd, the standard of judo was very high, all 4 fought hard. Rhys Day age 6, won Bronze, this was his first ever competition. Sneyd Judo Club`s annual Halloween party was a resounding success. We had our best ever turn out with 43 people. We had a special appearance by Chris Brindley playing a medley on his sax and a set from Satan’s Alley the club band featuring Jacob Smith on the drums. The next grading session is being held on Friday 18th May 2012 at 7.00pm at Sneyd Green Primary School.

2012 Mat Fees

Due to rising costs the club are increasing mat fees by 50p per person per session.

The club has not increased prices for over 6 years and the new prices still represent fantastic value for money.

Sneyd Attend The Tamworth Course

Sneyd Judo Club was well represented at Tamworth this year with 8 members from both locations attending. The course was as always well run, with many top class coaches teaching very good judo, I hope you all enjoyed it I know I did. I have to say all Sneyd students were very well behaved I was very proud of you all well done and lets look forward to St Ives at Easter.
